Roman quarters and local food private tour

The 7-hour tour is led by a professional and licensed driver-guide in a Mercedes vehicle who will meet you at your hotel or residence and take you on a tour of the Vatican Museums, with its beautiful galleries containing works of incredible beauty and priceless value! The tour includes a visit to the Sistine Chapel, a building of magnificent beauty (St. Peter’s Basilica’s guided tour can be added for an extra fee)

The tour continues to the Pantheon, with its magnificent and world-renowned dome, then Trevi Fountain, Spanish Square with the Steps, and afterwards to the Circus Maximus with a view over the Palatine Hill.

After lunch in a local restaurant, you will explore the Colosseum, the ancient amphitheater where gladiator fights took place. Your guide will lead you through the ruins of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, amidst historical tales, legends, and curiosities. We walk past the Arch of Constantine and through the ruins of the Roman Forum to the Capitol. 

By the end of this experience, you will know the reason for the nickname given to Rome, the “Eternal City“, its history, its mysteries, and the events that led to the creation of the world’s most famous works of art.

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for visiting churches, monuments, and museums.
