Tour description

Dear guests, this is one of the most requested tours, and it is conducted by an English speaking driver who is also a certified tourist guide of Rome (as well as a Vaticanist). The most beautiful and important places of Rome in 7 or 8 hours of driving and walking tour with a Mercedes Vehicle and a certified tour guide, two services, one rate!!

The driver/certified guide will meet you at 9am at your hotel or any other place of your convenience. He will enter the sites with you, and will explain history and features of monuments and museums.

Itinerary

9am Classical Vatican tour, 3 hours of walking/guided tour inside the Vatican museums to visit:

Pinecone courtyard, Pius and Clementine museum, Gallery of Candelabra, Gallery of tapestries, Gallery of Map, Sobiesky Room, Immacolate conception Room, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica.

Break for lunch (typical local trattoria or pizza place)

3pm, beginning of a 2 hours walking/guided tour about the masterpieces held inside the Borghese Gallery ( please, click here to buy tickets at 3pm)

Back to the hotel around 5pm

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for the visiting of churches, museums, monuments.
Monuments and museums entry fees are not included, lunch as well.
