Dear guests, this one-day round-trip experience from Rome was planned for all those people devoted to Santa Rita, to show them the most important places of her life, the village where she was born, the native and marital houses, and the convent where she spent most of his lifetime.

You will be met at 7.30 am at your hotel or residence, and driven for 2 and a half hours to Cascia through the scenic countryside of the Umbria Region, commonly called “the green heart of Italy” because of its central location. Once arrived in Cascia, you will have time to visit the Shire of Rita and all its connected buildings. Moreover, most of the time, there is a chance to see part of the convent which was damaged in 2016 by an earthquake, and is still under renovation.

After a good lunch in a local restaurant, you will be met by your driver again and taken to the village of Roccaporena, the native place of Santa Rita, and given directions for a little self-tour.

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for visiting holy places.
