The Experience

The 7-hour tour is led by a professional and licensed driver-guide in a Mercedes vehicle who will meet you at your hotel or residence and take you on a tour of the Vatican Museums, with its beautiful galleries containing works of incredible beauty and priceless value! The tour includes a visit to the Sistine Chapel, a building of magnificent beauty (St. Peter’s Basilica’s guided tour can be added for an extra fee)

The tour continues to the Pantheon, with its magnificent and world-renowned dome, then Trevi Fountain, Spanish Square with the Steps, and afterwards to the Circus Maximus with a view over the Palatine Hill.

After lunch in a local restaurant, you will explore the Colosseum, the ancient amphitheater where gladiator fights took place. Your guide will lead you through the ruins of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, amidst historical tales, legends, and curiosities. We walk past the Arch of Constantine and through the ruins of the Roman Forum to the Capitol.

By the end of this experience, you will know the reason for the nickname given to Rome, the “Eternal City“, its history, its mysteries, and the events that led to the creation of the world’s most famous works of art.

The Experience

Dear Guests, this experience of a one-day tour has been programmed for those travelers who wish to visit one of the most beautiful italian region, the Cinque Terre, so called because of the 5 villages, and Porto Venere, with an English-speaking driver, professionally skilled, who will give you information about monuments, local traditions and customs, and much more, to make your experience a memory of a lifetime.

You will be picked up at the terminal of your cruise ship at 8:30 am (to be determined the day before travel) by a driver from our company, holding a sign bearing your name on it.
Then you will make your way to Portovenere for about 40 minutes.

Portovenere is famous as a UNESCO World Heritage site, boasting a breathtaking landscape of cliffs, sea caves, and islands, dominated by the Gothic Church of San Pietro and Doria Castle, which inspired Romantic poets like Lord Byron. It offers a unique blend of history, medieval architecture, and pristine nature in the Gulf of Poets.

Afterwards, you will drive for 45 minutes, along the coastal road of breathtaking views, to the village of Riomaggiore, a village in the most southerly of the Cinque Terre villages. Dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and wine produced by the town’s vineyards.

Then, driving for another 40 minutes to enjoy a great fish meal in the village of Vernazza.

Afterwards, you will visit Corniglia, famous for being the only village in the Cinque Terre not directly on the sea, but perched on a cliff 100 meters high, offering unique views and a strategic position for trekking paths.

-The driver can change the order of visiting according to traffic conditions or other issues!

Itinerary

MORNING

8.30 am, pick-up from La Spezia port by a driver from our local satellite Limo Company (from your cruise ship, you will get in the shuttle bus, which will take you to the terminal, where you find the driver).
9.15 am approx. Arrive in Portovenere for strolling around.
10.30 am approx. Meet again with your driver and make your way for 45 minutes to reach Riomaggiore, the most southerly of the Cinque Terre villages.
11.15 am approx. Arrive in Riomaggiore and have free time.

AFTERNOON

12.30 am approx. Lunch of great fish meal in Vernazza.
After lunch, drive to the village of Corniglia, the highest village, nicknamed “the balcony of the Cinque Terre“, with spectacular views of the coast.
3.45 or 4 pm meet again with your driver to go back to La Spezia port

Dear guests, this private day tour has been designed for those who wish to enjoy the breeze of the blue sea, good savour, and Pompeii, one of world’s most visited archaeological sites!

You will be met at the bottom of your cruise ship by an English-speaking driver, affiliated with Rome-Limousines Company, born and residing in Naples, and transferred in 20 minutes driver, to a heritage listed site, Pompeii ( 2 hrs available to visit it, by yourself or with a professional local tour guide for extra cost).

The catastrophic eruption of Mont Vesuvius in 79 AD caused the city’s destruction. But, miraculously, thanks to the layers of pumice and volcanic ash that fell upon it, we can still admire the original Roman structures.

The Experience

Dear Guests, this private excursion has been designed for those travelers who wish to enjoy one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world, Pompeii, also one of the most beautiful islands of Italy, Capri, and the savour of a cuisine renowned all over the world! Down below, as follows, is your tour plan!

When you are allowed to get off your ship, a few meters away, you can easily reach the port section where ferri boats and hydrofoils take off to Capri. Capri is visited for its unique scenic beauty, its crystal-clear sea with caves and the Faraglioni, its rich history (imperial villas, archaeology), its glamorous atmosphere and luxury shopping, and for the scenic walks through nature and picturesque villages, offering a mix of relaxation, culture, and “dolce vita” suitable for everyone. In about 45 minutes, you will land on the Island of Capri, port of Marina Grande, where you can buy your tickets for a boat tour around the island, including the Blue Grotto (about €20 per person). Afterwards, you take some time to relax, drinking coffee or having some gelato at the famous piazzetta.

By noon, go back to the port of Marina Grande, take ferri boat or a hydrofoil to Sorrento, wherem after 25 minutes ride, you will meet your driver, who will take you for some lunch and some free time.

By 2 pm, you will make your way to Pompeii, where a licensed tour guide will show you the most breathtaking remains of the ancient Pompeii destroyed by the volcanic eruption of 79 A.D. 9 am approx. Arrive in Capri, Marina Grande port, and buy a ticket for the round tour of the island, which includes the “Blue Grotto”.
After the 2-hour tour, take a break and relax by drinking a coffee or having gelato in the main square, piazzetta.
By noon, take off from the island to Sorrento.

AFTERNOON

Arrive in Sorrento, meet your driver, and be advised for some lunch.

The Experience

Dear Guests, this experience has been designed for some travelers who wish to enjoy and discover the beauty of a very famous Roman Countryside called “Roman Castles.”

The tour is conducted by an English-speaking driver from our company, Rome-Limousine, who will welcome you at the gangway of your boat-cruise ship, and he holds a sign bearing your or your party’s name.

You will then be driven directly to Castel Gandolfo, a small town renowned for being the Pope’s summer residence. Castel Gandolfo, recently voted as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, rises at the crest of a volcanic lake, once one of the five mouths of the big Laziale Volcano.
The medieval town is dominated by the Pope’s summer residence, built by Carlo Maderno for Pope Urban VIII in the 17th century. The loggia of the benediction, the balcony from where the Pope waves and blesses the faithful, overlooks the whole town. Walking down the narrow and fascinating main street, you will have the chance to visit the church built by Gianlorenzo Bernini and dedicated to St. Thomas from Villanova, with its beautiful cupola and the altarpiece by Pietro da Cortona.
Gourmet stores, religious goods, and souvenir shops line up the central corso. Here, there is time for coffee, pictures, and a visit to the church of St. Thomas. Afterward, you will be driven to Frascati, where, in a winery, you will be taught everything regarding wine.

From Castel Gandolfo, it takes 20 minutes to Frascati, through lovely and shady streets dating back to the Renaissance, connecting the rich villas of Roman aristocrats.

Frascati is one of the most renowned Castle Towns, and its name comes from the Middle Ages, from the use of collecting firewood (“frasche in Italian) for the construction of makeshift shelters by the inhabitants of the ancient Tusculum town, which had been destroyed in the 12th century. The most modern tradition associates the name of the town with the custom that the wine sellers had of hanging a vine branch outside their stores to announce that the wine from the last harvest was ready to be sold. Frascati is also famous for its notable villas, which were built from the 16th century onwards by Popes, Cardinals, and Roman nobles as “Status Symbols” of Roman Aristocracy.
These country houses were designed for social activities rather than farming.
Just a few minutes outside the town is the vineyard where you will experience a very good and informative wine tasting.
You will be shown the yards and explained the long cultivation process and the several grapes, adopted and autochthonous. Then the wine tasting with 3 types of wine with snacks, bruschetta, salami, and cheese, in addition to the inevitable olive oil. The wine-tasting experience is not included in the tour fee.

Nemi
After the wine tasting, there will be a visit to the smallest town of the area, Nemi, whose name comes from the Latin Nemus, which is “Wood or Bosco” in Italian. Here are some good places for lunch. It is a wonderful village that, like Castel Gandolfo, overlooks a lake, little but fascinating.
The festival of strawberries takes place in the town in the first week of June, and the great abundance of the fruit, along the central shopping street, give great bright color and delight scent that makes you fall in love!!!

The Experience

This tour has been created especially for travelers who are waiting to start a cruise adventure or have just finished, and before going back home, they wish to enjoy Rome!

You will be picked up by a driver from our company, Rome-limousines, with a Mercedes Limo Van or Sedan, and your bags will be stored and kept safe in the car while visiting Rome.

This tour includes a three-hour city sightseeing plus a transfer to/ from Civitavecchia Cruise Port, and it is conducted by an English-speaking driver who will give you all the historical information and time available to enjoy the spots, and take pictures.

The itinerary is flexible, depending on your preferences. We usually offer a 3-hour tour, but we can extend it to more hours upon request! Your driver will show you the most important monuments and sites such as the Circus Maximus, the Palatine hill, the Colosseum, and Capitol hill with the emotional Roman Forum. Then you will see Venice Square with its imposing modern building commonly called The Altar of Fatherland, the Pantheon, with its immense dome, the largest concrete dome ever built in the world. Moreover, Trevi Fountain because, tossing a coin in its bathtub means come back to Rome!

1st. stop at Gianicolo Hill, the viewing place of Rome
2nd. stop, St. Peter’s Square (you will be given time to enjoy the place)
3rd. stop, Pantheon, the renowned temple dedicated to all the Roman Gods
4th. stop, Trevi Fountain, where you can make a wish by tossing the coins
5th. stop, Spanish Steps and the Square, the district of fashion designers
6th, stop, Colosseum, the huge amphitheater for gladiators’ combat

You will be met by a professional English-speaking driver at the bottom of your ship with a sign bearing your name on it.
Your driver, born and residing in Tuscany, with an in-depth knowledge of the territory and all its historical, artistic, and gastronomic features, will drive you through the breathtaking countryside, Tuscan landscape, one of a kind, with its rolling green hills of meadows or vineyards, rows of cypresses trees that indicate the main road that reaches a farmhouse, so characteristic that you would recognize its rural architecture among thousands!

The drive from Livorno to the “Chianti Valley” lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. It is located between the provinces of Florence and Siena, a region that has long been considered the heart of old Tuscany and is famous throughout the world for its wines. The Chianti Region is famous for its red wine, one of Italy’s world-renowned symbols. Produced in an idyllic hilly landscape between Florence and Siena, characterized by vineyards, medieval villages (such as Greve, Radda, and Castellina), and castles, it is also famous for its rich historical and cultural heritage, its olive oil, and its quality agriculture, offering an authentic experience of Tuscan tradition. the red wine Chianti is famous for its long history, its legendary origins linked to the Black Rooster, its consistent quality (thanks also to strict regulations since the 18th century), its versatile flavor, fresh, fruity, and with notes of violet, its affordable price range, and its wide availability, representing the emblem of Tuscan winemaking tradition throughout the world.

Here we make a stop at the Casa Emma, founded in 1969 and located in the heart of Tuscany, in the Chianti Classico region. Casa Emma proudly carries on the tradition of the Denomination’s ancient and prestigious winemaking heritage. The winery is surrounded by natural beauty and dreamlike landscapes, framed by timeless panoramas and atmospheres. An authentic and dynamic history for an illustrious reputation for elegant and refined wines.

Another wine-tasting stop will be made at the gate of Florence at the historical vineyard and wine store San Michele a Torri.
It is a historical Tuscan farmhouse, organic since 1993, and located in the heart of the Chianti region, 15 km away from Florence. It takes its name from the village bearing the same name, San Michele a Torri, and is right on top of a hill overlooking a suggestive surrounding countryside covered by vineyards, olive groves, and woods. The uniqueness of the environment of San Michele a Torri farmhouse, and its richness in biodiversity, make this fascinating structure in the heart of Chianti a unique place where you can rediscover flavors, smells, and the authenticity of an almost forgotten lifestyle!
Then you will make your way back to the port of Livorno.

9 15 am, arrive at San Michele a Torri winery and have a wine tasting

The Experience

Dear guests, this experience of 1-day tour has been planned for all those travelers who wish to visit the locations of the by now-famous movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”, the town of Cortona, Tuscany Region.
Moreover, you will be driven to another historic village, Montepulciano, and will have the chance to taste one of the three most famous Tuscany red wines, the “Nobile di Montepulciano”.

This excursion from Rome is led by a professional English-speaking driver from our company, Rome-Limousines, with a/c brand-new Mercedes vehicle, cold bottled water, and free wi-fi on board.

You will be picked up at 7.30 am from your hotel, residence, or any other place of your convenience, and transferred to the magic Cortona by a lovely drive through the countryside of Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany regions.

Cortona
It is very easy to visit the city and get lost in its medieval alleys, among the charming small shops of local artisans and cafes.
Discover all the spots where the movie was shot by yourself, asking questions to locals by trying to speak Italian, it is something that they love and feel much more engaged with you to help you.

Montepulciano
It does not need an introduction, it is famous all over the world for its beautiful Renaissance layout, given by the imposing palaces and terracotta tiled squares, and for the red wine, the “Nobile di Montepulciano” that adds that touch of magic to all around.
Montepulciano rises on top of a hill, and driving the charming street, lined with vineyards, towards the town, you will already have a breathtaking view. It is easy to recognize the town hall with its beautiful clock tower with a terrace that welcomes visitors.
Your driver will suggest a place for lunch, which could be a charcuterie and cheese platter in one of the wine bars or traditional restaurant carefully selected by us over years of experience. You will also have the opportunity to taste wines of varying ages, a young Classical Red aged between six and eight months, Nobile that requires two years of aging, and Nobile Riserva aged three years.
Afterward, take a lovely stroll along the main street, so captivating that you will never forget and love it forever!

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for visiting churches, monuments, and museums.

Itinerary

MORNING

Pick-up at 7.30 am from your hotel (within Rome city walls), and drive straight to the town of Cortona, through a scenic countryside of northern Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany, with a stop on the way for coffee!
Stop at Villa Bramasole, the residence of the writer Frances Mayes, for pictures.
Drive 5 minutes to downtown for a free self-stroll and visit the major spots
By noon, drive 45 minutes to the town of Montepulciano through the scenic Val di Chiana, Chiana Valley.

AFTERNOON

Lunch break at Montepulciano restaurant “Gattavecchi”, with its historical wine aging grottoes from the 12th century.
14.30 pm, self-visit the town of Montepulciano, walk down the hill through the shopping street
15.45 pm, meet back with the driver to make your way back to Rome
